Programs & Events

Many Caribbean individuals face unique health challenges and have limited access to culturally relevant events.
The Caribbean Preservation Alliance seeks to address these issues by providing culturally and socially relevant programming. Our organization offers programs in three main areas:

Cultural Preservation, Creative Promotion, & Community Support

  • Cultural Preservation

Preserve and promote the culture and history of the Caribbean islands: Our primary goal is to ensure that the unique and diverse cultural practices, traditions, and histories of the Caribbean islands are preserved and promoted. We aim to document and share these traditions through educational initiatives, cultural programming, and community events, and to foster a sense of pride and appreciation for our heritage among the Caribbean diaspora and the wider community.

These programs would aim to document and share the traditional practices, stories, and histories of Caribbean peoples. Examples could include oral history projects, cultural festivals, language classes, and traditional cooking workshops.

  • Creative Promotion

We aim to support Caribbean artists, writers, musicians, and performers, by providing platforms for their work, promoting their creative outputs, and facilitating networking opportunities. Our goal is to help these creatives succeed and thrive, and to ensure that their work is recognized and celebrated within the Caribbean community and beyond.

These programs aim to promote the work of Caribbean creatives - including artists, writers, musicians, and performers - within the Caribbean community and beyond. They include activities like art exhibitions, literary events, music concerts, and film screenings. The goal is to provide a platform for Antillean creatives to showcase their work and to ensure that their work is recognized and celebrated.

  • Community Support

We seek to foster a sense of community and connection among the diaspora worldwide, and to promote cultural exchange and collaboration. Our goal is to build a global network of organizations and vendors, and to provide resources and support to promote their success. We aim to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where individuals can connect with their heritage, share their stories, and celebrate their unique cultural traditions through the arts.

These programs aim to support businesses, non-profits, and community groups, by providing resources, networking opportunities, and other forms of support. They include activities like business development workshops, mentoring programs, and community outreach initiatives. The goal is to help Antillean businesses and organizations succeed and thrive.
